Mission Statement

The mission of Closing the Gap in Health Care, Inc. (CGHC, Inc.) is to decrease health disparities by providing health information to African Americans and underserved populations. In addition, it is our intention to do the following:

To provide scholarships for African American students at the Medical University of South Carolina.
To improve the health literacy of people of color and the community at large
To encourage youth to pursue life-long fitness habits for healthy outcomes
